Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-01. Operated by Teb, an online service operated from Israel by its individual owner; paid purchases are sold and invoiced by Freemius, Inc. as merchant of record.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Teb (“Teb”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Teb website at tebhq.com, the Teb connector for AI tools, the Teb API and any related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, connecting the Service to an AI tool, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” refers to that entity.

1. The Service

Teb lets you save a structured summary of a conversation with an AI tool (a “Handoff”) and retrieve it from another AI tool or from a web link. The summary is written by the AI tool you are using, following a schema provided by Teb. Teb stores Handoffs and returns them; Teb does not itself run artificial-intelligence models on your content.

The Service works with third-party AI tools through open protocols (such as the Model Context Protocol). Those tools are provided by third parties under their own terms. We do not control them, are not affiliated with them, and are not responsible for their availability, behavior or output.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  1. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher, and able to form a binding contract.
  2. Sign-in is provided through our identity provider. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and connected tools secure, and for everything that happens under your account.
  3. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade limits.
  4. Tell us immediately at support@tebhq.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Your content

  1. “Your Content” means Handoffs, transcripts, materials and any other data you or your connected tools submit to the Service. You retain all rights in Your Content.
  2. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit and display Your Content solely to provide, secure and improve the Service and as otherwise permitted by our Privacy Policy. This license ends when Your Content is deleted, subject to backups kept for a limited period.
  3. You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights needed to submit it and that it does not violate law, third-party rights or our Acceptable Use Policy.
  4. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, sell it, or use it for advertising.
  5. Share links contain a secret key. Anyone holding a full share link can read that Handoff. You are responsible for whom you share links with.

4. AI-generated content

Handoff summaries are generated by third-party AI tools and may be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. Teb does not verify them. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before relying on it, and for any decisions or actions you take based on it. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial or otherwise).

5. Acceptable use

You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. In short: do not use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content, infringe rights, attack or overload the Service, circumvent limits, or harm others.

6. Plans, tokens and payments

  1. Free plan. The free plan includes 10 Handoffs per calendar month, kept for 30 days, with full transcripts kept for 7 days. We may change free-plan limits with notice on the website.
  2. Tokens. Beyond the free plan, saving a Handoff consumes tokens as shown on the billing page at the time of saving. Tokens are prepaid credits, have no cash value, are non-transferable, do not expire, and cannot be redeemed for money except where refund law requires.
  3. Resuming is free. Retrieving a Handoff never consumes tokens.
  4. Payments. Purchases are processed by Freemius Inc., which acts as the merchant of record, issues invoices and handles applicable taxes. By purchasing you also accept Freemius’s terms. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases.
  5. Refunds. See our Refund Policy. Where you are a consumer with statutory withdrawal rights, you acknowledge that tokens are digital content delivered immediately and that you lose the right of withdrawal for tokens you have used.
  6. Chargebacks. If a payment is reversed, we may remove the corresponding tokens and revert Handoffs paid with them to free-plan retention.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided without an uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. If we discontinue the Service entirely we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or on the website, during which you can export your data.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, name and logo are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the open-source parts published under their own license, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer (except where law permits), resell or create derivative works of the Service. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation to you.

9. Third-party trademarks

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Cursor and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. Teb is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those owners.

10. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@tebhq.com including: identification of the work, the location of the material (code or link), your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized, and your signature. We will remove or disable access to infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we process and why. Business customers who need a data processing agreement can use our DPA.

12. Termination

  1. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Deletion removes your Handoffs, connections and token history and your sign-in. Unused tokens are not refunded except as the Refund Policy provides.
  2. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if required by law, and otherwise with reasonable notice. Where practical we will let you export your data first.
  3. Sections 3 (license to the extent needed for backups), 4, 8, 13, 14, 15 and 16 survive termination.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR THAT THIRD-PARTY AI TOOLS WILL BEHAVE AS DESCRIBED.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY; (B) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTS, OMISSIONS OR OUTPUT OF THIRD-PARTY AI TOOLS OR FOR CONTENT YOU SHARE THROUGH SHARE LINKS; AND (C) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THAT PERIOD OR USD 50. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW, INCLUDING FOR FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED.

15. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law. This does not apply to consumers to the extent prohibited by law.

16. Governing law and disputes

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
  2. Before starting legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@tebhq.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days.
  3. Disputes will be resolved exclusively by the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction that grants you the right to sue in your home courts or under mandatory local consumer law, nothing here removes that right.
  4. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.

17. General

  1. Changes. We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after that date is acceptance. The version date appears at the top.
  2. Export control and sanctions. You may not use the Service in violation of export-control or sanctions laws, or if you are on a restricted-party list.
  3. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor of the business.
  4. Severability; waiver. If a provision is unenforceable it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary; the rest remains in force. A failure to enforce is not a waiver.
  5. Entire agreement. These Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
